Who is Leigh Redmond, GRI?

Leigh Redmond has been a trusted Realtor since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of experience and expertise to her clients. She holds the prestigious GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) designation – an achievement earned by only a select few real estate professionals on Amelia Island. Leigh is a licensed mortgage broker providing her clients with valuable insight into a wide range of financing options.

Her impressive background includes a distinguished career with the Department of Defense (DoD), where she served as a Warranted Contracting Officer, as well as the Head of Policy and Procedure. As a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both contracts and negotiations, Leigh brings a powerful skill set to the negotiating table – always advocating fiercely to protect her clients’ interests.

Leigh’s creative side is just as robust. As a member of both the American Decorative Art Society and the International Special Events Society, she brings a refined eye for staging and design to every property she represents. More About Leigh

Leigh Redmond connection to Amelia Island runs deep – she’s been visiting since the late 1970s, when her uncle helped design the original Amelia Island Plantation as one of its founding architects. After spending 30 years traveling the world, Leigh returned to the place that always felt like home. As she puts it, “Why leave paradise?” Now, she plans to be here for the rest of her life.

Growing up in New Orleans Leigh attended the same school as the famous Manning brothers and carries that Southern charm and resilience with her. Her passions include boating – she even knows the island’s only original boat broker – golf, fitness, and off-roading in her Jeep. She shares her home with her beloved Catahoula Leopard Dog, Boudreaux, the state dog of Louisiana.

Leigh is also deeply committed to giving back. She focuses her efforts on causes that support women, children, animals, and elders. While living in Atlanta, she served as president of a volunteer organization with over 450 members, providing pet-assisted therapy to more than 40 facilities, including children’s hospitals, psychiatric centers, Alzheimer’s care homes, and hospice facilities.
